Item description:
A pillow made from an antique yastik (Turkish for cushion), now fitted with a cotton velvet back, zipper and muslin bag with fill. The knife edge ihas red velvet self-cording. the yastik was made by hand in an Anatolian village about one hundred years ago. The pile is deep and soft. The palette is a mix of vegetable and mineral dyes typical of that period.
